Hunt & Fish: Hunt & Fish Club is the hidden gem you never knew you needed. Whether you’re celebrating a big birthday, schmoozing some work clients, or grabbing a pre-Broadway show bite, Hunt & Fish Club delivers on all fronts. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous with lights hanging from the ceiling and nice, large, round booths. Their expansive menu is sure to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters with options from both land and sea. Choose from a range of their eclectic appetizers such as the Stoli Elite Baked Shrimp, which was basically shrimp baked in vodka sauce and topped with breadcrumbs (yum!), grilled octopus with smoked eggplant and romesco, their delicious fresh seafood salad, or some thick cut bacon with beer cheese sauce. Their signature chopped salad was also one of our favorites and is not to be missed! It came with chickpeas, tomatoes, soppressata, provolone, and cucumber, which made for the perfect combination! For the main course, we recommend ordering a bunch and sharing with the table since everything was really so delicious. The porterhouse for 2 with truffle butter and the grilled whole branzino with lemon-caper pesto definitely stood out to us among the rest. Complete your meal with some sides such as truffle tater tots, brussel sprouts with bacon, and some yummy mac and cheese (We recommend just getting the plain mac and cheese! Sometimes simple is better!). Hunt & Fish Club is also home to the most decadent 24 layer chocolate cake, which we could not stop eating, so don’t skip out on dessert here! We must say, our experience here was really top notch, not just because of the food, but because the service was impeccable. They really fulfill the definition of “service with a smile”. This restaurant is definitely more on the expensive side, so keep it on your roster for your next business meeting or special occasion!

Westbourne: Westbourne, just an 11-minute walk from the Dagne Soho Pop-Up, is the ultimate veggie oasis! It’s not a large restaurant, but there's communal seating that can fit a decent amount of people for those prime time hours. Westbourne is a natural, "vegetable forward" café that did not disappoint. Inspired by the west coast, this LA crafted spot has an all-day menu that changes based on seasonal produce or ingredients. So if you’re feeling their buckwheat waffles at 4pm, go right on in! We ordered the Over The Rainbowl, which had brown basmati rice, lentil falafel, sweet potatoes, broccoli, kale, pickled beets, and jalapeno tahini. The combo made for a healthy but hearty meal and everything in the bowl tasted super fresh. We decided to add on The Bounty as well, which had raw and cooked vegetables, homemade beet chips, and amazing dipping sauces on the side. The beet chips were better than any potato chip we’ve ever had, and each vegetable tasted better than the next when dipped in the shallot and walnut sauces! Not only was the food good, but the service was really on point. Everyone who works there was really knowledgeable about the ingredients and what Westbourne stands for. Make sure to leave with one of their organic chocolate chip cookies in hand, because we can’t be TOO healthy here…and as always, lettuce know what you think!
